Microneedling
Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that uses ultra fine needles to cause small punctures in the skin. This micro-trauma to the skin will prompt the healing process and stimulate collagen and elastin production.
Collagen and Elastin are proteins in our body that provide firmness, structure and strength to our skin. After the age of 20, our collagen and elastin levels dramatically decrease eventually causing saggy skin and wrinkles. Microneedling is one of the most effective ways to increase collagen and elastin production. We use microneedling to treat skin imperfections such as acne scars, enlarged pores, fine lines, and overall skin tone, texture and laxity.

What to Expect:
The entire appointment will take about 45 minutes which includes 20-30 minutes of numbing. Even with numbing cream, microneedling may cause some mild discomfort depending on the individual’s sensitivity. After the procedure, the patient will be red for a few days but there is no downtime. Please refer to the after-care instructions given after the procedure. Multiple treatments are recommended for optimal results.
